On November 24, Campaign 2000 and its partners marked the 20th year since Canadian parliamentarians voted unanimously to end child poverty by the year 2000. Special releases of the 2009 national and provincial report cards, rallies and a breakfast on Parliament Hill brought attention to the issue across the country.
