Portable Document Format - PDF files
Our website also contains links to internal or external documents in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF) files. All of these documents are clearly identified as PDF files and the page where they appear includes a link to Adobe Acrobat Reader which is required to open and read PDF files. Acrobat Reader is free and easy to install.
For flyers, brochures and workshop information available in PDF format and created by FST staff, we have provided the same information in HTML format.
However, we also have posted on our website or have linked externally to larger PDF documents produced outside FST (such as books, reports or newsletters). At this time we are not in the position to provide the content of these materials in HTML or text format. In the future, while we cannot change how other organizations make their materials available to the public, we will make efforts to at least provide FST PDF documents in an easier accessible format.
Many people who use screen readers can’t read PDFs easily. To solve this problem, Adobe Systems, Inc. developed on-line tools to help visually disabled users by converting Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files into either HTML or ASCII text.
