Maneesh MEHTA

Maneesh Mehta is Managing Director of MESA Investments, an advisory and investment group focused on the cleantech sector. He was most recently a partner with Deloitte.
Over his 19 years at Deloitte, Maneesh held a wide range of responsibilities, the most recent being M&A strategy and commercial due diligence, where provided advisory services to private equity firms and strategic buyers in the TMT, utilities and consumer business industries. Prior to that he was the Deputy Managing Partner of Clients & Markets for Deloitte, including being the Chief Marketing Officer. Before that, Maneesh was Deputy Managing Partner of the Global Emerging Strategic Clients (ESC) program where he focused on growth organizations.
Previously, Maneesh was the partner-in-charge of all non-IT services for the Canadian Solutions consulting practice. In this role, his responsibilities included developing the multi-disciplinary consulting practice serving mid-market clients of the Canadian firm.
Maneesh started his career with Deloitte in the Consulting division and was a founding member of the Toronto Braxton Associates strategy practice. During that time he was the partner-in-charge of the Telecommunications & Media Industry Program in Canada and the lead client service partner for Nortel Networks.
Maneesh’s expertise covers a range of functional areas, including strategy, marketing, and business operations. In particular, Maneesh has extensive experience in strategic analysis, market assessment, financial analysis, demand forecasting, and general business planning. He has been a recognized expert in the telecommunications industry, with more than 15 years’ experience in the sector, having worked extensively with major clients in North America, such as Nortel Networks, Bell Mobility, Bell Canada, and other clients in Central and South America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Maneesh worked for Nortel Networks over a period of five years in competitive and market intelligence. He holds a MASc. and a BASc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
