FST Community Parent Education Program (COPE) offers a 6 to 8 week parenting program and at the same time provides social skill groups for children/pre-teens. With the support of trained Group Facilitators parents meet and network with other parents and share ideas about:
Listening and talking effectively with their children and pre-teens
Encouraging cooperation regarding household chores, mealtimes, school work, etc.
Promoting positive relationships among brothers and sisters
Supporting student success and confidence in children/pre-teens
Information on local community activities and free resources for families
