Adult survivors of sexual abuse and other childhood trauma

At FSA, we offer confidential support to men and women as they work to overcome childhood traumas. Our professional counsellors are here to help you explore and understand the issues you may be facing, and support you as you develop solutions.
By participating in our programs and/or counselling, you will:
- Overcome symptoms of trauma such as anxiety, depression and addiction
- Experience the relief of no longer having to live with "secrets"
- Work through feelings of anger, shame and betrayal
- Talk about your experiences in a safe, accepting environment
- Increase your sense of self-worth and self-esteem
- Receive support if you choose to confront your abuser(s)
- Learn how to trust others and build relationships
- Learn to feel more in control of your emotions
- Free up your energy for other areas of your life such as work, family, relationships and having fun
- Learn to be a more attentive and confident parent
