Therapy Group for People Living with HIV/AIDS Interested in Exploring a Sense of Well-Being

Are you feeling stuck? Uncertain? Lost? Without hope? Depressed? Alone?

If you answer "yes" to any of these questions, a therapy group may benefit you.

The Coalition on HIV and Mental Health is looking for men and women who want to explore well-being while living with HIV to join one of our 20 weeks "Living Well: An Exploration of Living with HIV" therapy groups. New groups start in Fall 2007. Download PDF

Therapy group for gay/bisexual male survivors of childhood sexual abuse

Are you a gay or bisexual man who was sexually abused in childhood?
Do you want to talk with other men about how this affects your life?

David Kelley LGBT Counselling Program of Family Service Association offers annually a 20 week therapy group for gay and bisexual men. Next group starting in February 2007.

Participants are required to have an individual therapist while enrolled in the group, and to have explored the sexual abuse trauma prior to attending the program. This group will provide a supportive environment for men to talk together, enlist mutual support, and examine ways to address consequences of sexual abuse. Two gay male therapists will facilitate the group. Space is limited.

Consultation / training for professionals

DKS will provide consultation to agencies, organizations and businesses on addressing sexual orientation in the workplace as well as training to social service / health and other professionals in addressing issues for the LGBT community.
