In October 2004, all of the agencies involved with GUHD celebrated 10 years since they came together and formed the partnership. Ten years of success and hard work with and for families across downtown Toronto.

The Anniversary celebrations took place at the Harbourfront Community Centre. The event brought together over 100 participants - parents and children, PHAC representatives, volunteers - eager to celebrate and have fun together.

Special guests and speakers included Tony Ianno, Minister of State for Families and Caregivers and Member of Parliament for Trinity Spadina and Liz Rykert, GUHD's first coordinator.

It was a great party with good food, music, an exhibition of photos from the last 10 years, and many opportunities for parents and children to interact and have fun together.

The hard work of GUHD volunteers was also recognized.
