Children's Festival

Location: Grange Park (between Beverley St. and McCaul St., North of Queen St. West and South of Dundas St. west)

Join us for a great day of fun in the park with family friends. Free events include: BBQ, firetruck, pony rides, face painting, craft tables, petting zoo, fun activities for kids and munc more.

The music and entertainment will be provided by the Sandbox Club.

Since 2005, every summer GUHD brings together parents and children from across Toronto to participate in its annual children's festival.

The Festival, sponsored by the University Settlement Recreation Centre and GUHD, takes place in the Grange Park.

Last year, the Festival had over 500 participants. Among the attractions and special activities for children were:

  • the petting zoo
  • pony rides
  • face painting workshops
  • magicians
  • stilt walkers
  • story tellers
  • the bouncy castle
  • arts and crafts, and
  • visits by Police and Fire Departments.
