History of the LGBTQ Parenting Connection
The LGBTQ Parenting Connection emerged as a collaboration between the original LGBT Parenting Network founded by The Family Service Association of Toronto (FSA) in 2001 (now Family Service Toronto – FST), and Queer Parenting Programs at The 519 Community Centre (The 519). With new funding from the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in March 2006, the LGBT Parenting Network was moved from FSA to the Sherbourne Health Centre (SHC) in March 2007 and renamed the LGBTQ Parenting Network
