New Directions Support Groups for Lesbian/Bi and Trans Women
Queer women often face unique challenges when dealing with the ending of an intimate relationship. In this 8 week support group New Directions provides a safe, supportive, affirming environment for giving and receiving support and sharing information.
Topics Include:
- Learning about the grieving process
- Exploring issues of separation and loss
- Developing a new sense of personal identity
- Making changes for the future
We are strongly committed to anti-discrimination practice and services are available regardless of age, cultural background, race, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status. Our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We provide services for people living or working in the Toronto area.
Date: Tuesdays, beginning in Spring 2007
