New Directions: Legal Clinics
Service Description:
Experienced family law lawyers provide a free half-hour consultation for women with family law concerns and questions. These confidential consultation sessions provide women with an overview of their legal situation and an opportunity to discuss the options for managing family law concerns .
During the consultation session, the lawyer will:
- Explain the legal process,
- Describe how the woman’s legal issues are likely to be addressed by the legal system,
- Explain the types of forms and procedures that are required when people separate or divorce, and
- Discuss the legal issues involved in family law situations such as cohabitation or parenting plans.

Registration Information:
Legal consultation sessions are available to women regardless of their current legal status. Bilingual legal clinics are offered in English, Farsi, German, and Hebrew. We continue to expand our language capabilities. Let us know what you require.
