Who can use Options?
Food, Shelter, Purpose, Love & Belonging, we all share these basic human needs.
Some of us need door openers, advocates, skill developers, problem solvers and networkers to make sure we can fulfill these needs. This is what we do at Options!
Our services are available to people who have an intellectual disability and their families who reside in Toronto.
Our services are free. They are funded by the Ministry of Community, Family and Children’s Services.
Options is multicultural
The Options program has a multicultural focus.
We provide service in English, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Hungarian
and Edo.
Does Options have access to flexible funds?
Options facilitators will work with individuals to help them apply for funding, as it becomes available. We cannot guarantee funding, but we will work with you to access available financial resources and community services to meet your support needs.

independent and being valued through adequate pay. All this has boosted
his self-esteem."
Christopher’s
father
"It has been a pleasure working
with Christopher …(he) is always eager to help and he consistently
comes to work with a smile on his face…This has been a 'win-win'for
both Chris and the bank!"
