FSA Service Access Unit (SAU)
416-595-9618

Our mission:

" Callers welcomed and enabled to make informed service choices "

The SAU provides a single access point to FSA Toronto's individual, couple and family services. These include:

  • The Counselling Service
  • The David Kelley Lesbian and Gay Community Counselling Program
  • The David Kelley HIV/AIDS Community Counselling Program
  • The Families in Transition Program
  • The New Directions Program
  • The Seniors and Caregivers Support Services
  • The Next Steps (Partner Abuse Response Program)
  • The Violence Against Women Program

The SAU helps people choose and connect to the service that best meets their needs within the Toronto area. Our first priority is what is best for the caller. We exchange information with people looking for services so that we can fully understand their needs and choices and so that they can make informed service decisions.

Callers are sometimes clearer about the problem than the solution. Our questions are designed to help callers find solutions and our trained SAU staff are able to offer alternatives if FSA Toronto isn’t the right fit. This information and referral services provided are an important part of what we offer.

The SAU works mostly by telephone. To arrange for counselling through our Service Access Unit, call 416-595-9618 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and we’ll be happy to arrange an appointment.

If you are not able to reach us during business hours, please leave a message with specific instructions on how to contact you. We will respond promptly to your request.
