Violence is never justified
Family Service Association of Toronto (FSA) works to reduce violence and abuse in intimate relationships.Our counsellors from a variety of specific FSA programs work together, as part of our integrated Family Violence Centre, to address all forms of abuse.
If you are involved in an abusive relationship, we have several programs ans services addressing different type of abuse: Violence against Women, Next Steps, David Kelley Lesbian and Gay Community Counselling.
Violence Against Women works primarily with women who are abused and children who have witnessed abuse in the home. Learn more >>
Next Steps primarily helps men who abuse their partners to take responsibility for their actions and learn alternatives to abusive behaviour. The program also helps a small number of women who abuse their partners. Learn more >>
David Kelley Lesbian and Gay Community Counselling helps individuals involved in an abusive same sex relationship. Learn more >>
Seniors and Caregivers Support offers counselling, service coordination and group sessions for seniors who have experienced abuse. The program also reaches out to Caregivers who are abusive and helps them learn alternative behaviours. Learn more >>
