The following community agencies and supports are available for women who need support or who would like to talk to someone anonymously about their situation.

The Assaulted Women's Helpline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It's a free and confidential service that offers telephone crisis counselling, information and emotional support, referrals to emergency shelters, legal information and services and community services as well as culturally appropriate resources for abused women. Service is provided in over 151 languages.
Victim Services Program
of Toronto

The Victim Services Program of Toronto provides crisis intervention and referral program, both on the scene and by telephone. After police officers screen and assess the case, community workers attend the scene where appropriate. Crisis counselling, support, mediation, referrals to community agencies, interpretation and court support are also available.

The Toronto Rape Crisis Centre provides crisis intervention and culturally
sensitive counselling, support and referrals for survivors of rape/ sexual
assault/ incest. Support for families and friends of survivors.

The David Kelley Lesbian and Gay Community Counselling Services at FST offers counselling and other supports to gay men, lesbians and other members of the queer community who are in abusive same-sex relationships.
