Spring/Summer 2006 issue just released

FSA's bi-annual magazine, Catalyst: Ideas for Change, is distributed to FSA members, volunteers, friends and supporters.

Catalyst's objective is to provide honest, thought-provoking and inspiring pieces about the problems and trends affecting our community and how the work of FSA addresses these issues and has a positive impact on Toronto's communities.

This issue examines the subject of violence-from headline-making gun violence to the harm done behind closed doors.

According to a CityTV online poll, 43 per cent of Toronto residents feel the city is becoming unsafe. We explore the factors that contribute to violent behaviour and possible solutions, with perspectives from youth, members of the legal community, a former politician and an individual dealing with the repercussions of his own violent behaviour.

If you are interested in receiving Catalyst, please call Theresa Sit at 416 595 9230 ext. 237 and ask to be added to our subscribers list. We also welcome your thoughts at catalyst@familyservicetoronto.org
